Documents are processed in your browser and sent directly to OpenAI for compliance scanning. Only the scan results are saved - your original documents are never stored. Results appear in your recent scans within 30-60 seconds.

What compliance frameworks does Complima support?

Complima scans for GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and general data handling risks. All plans include all three frameworks.

How long does a scan take?

Most scans complete within 30-60 seconds depending on document size and complexity. You can continue using the dashboard while scans are processing in the background.

What are the scan limits for each plan?

Starter: 50 scans/month (€29), Professional: 200 scans/month (€79), Enterprise: 1000 scans/month (€199). Unused scans do not roll over to the next month.

How long are my scan results stored?

Scan result retention varies by plan: Starter plan retains results for 30 days, Professional for 1 year, and Enterprise offers unlimited retention. Your original documents are never stored - only the compliance scan results and metadata. You can delete scan results at any time from your dashboard.

Can I use the API to automate scans?

Yes! Professional plans include API access with 1000 requests/hour, and Enterprise plans include 10,000 requests/hour. You can generate API keys from your dashboard to integrate compliance scanning into your workflows.

What are custom compliance rules?

Professional and Enterprise plans allow you to create custom rules specific to your organization's compliance requirements. Professional plans support up to 10 custom rules, while Enterprise plans offer unlimited custom rules.

Can I export scan results?

Yes, you can view detailed compliance reports directly in your dashboard. Enterprise plans also support white-label PDF reports with your company branding.
